In Memory and Honor of the Parkers of the World

Parker Killian Moore was a gentle soul with a larger than life personality. He had an infectious smile and a zest for life that was unmatched.   He loved LIFE – he spread joy and love wherever he went. He loved giving and receiving hugs.  He loved his family and animals. Tragically Parker’s life was cut short in January 2018 at only 23 years of age. His family in their heartbreak created a non-profit in his memory, Parker Killian GIVES Moore, to keep his light shining bright.

Parker Hanbury was a yellow labrador retriever. He charmed everyone he met. He was big and lovable. He was foster momma’s ‘gentle giant’. He was his vet’s ‘best boy’. He was daddy’s ‘side kick’. He was momma’s ‘precious soul’. He was simply adorable. After his sudden passing on August 1, 2019, everyone was heartbroken and devastated. His larger than life presence needed to live on! What better way to honor him than by giving the same material comfort that he enjoyed during his time with Foster Momma Krista to other foster pups awaiting forever families. Parker’s Pals, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was born!

And so two Parkers, one human and one canine, continue to live on through two separate and independent non-profits. They have joined together this holiday season to provide an opportunity for you to remember someone precious to you by donating $10, $25, $35 or more. You can purchase a purple Christmas Ball (Purple was Parker Killian Moore’s favorite color) in memory or honor of someone. This Christmas Ball will adorn a Christmas tree in Parker Killian Moore’s grandmother’s home and we will post pictures on both FB pages and websites. You can also purchase a Parker’s Pals Care Package for $25 in memory or honor of someone special to you and have it sent to a dog rescue of your choice or to a Parker’s Pal. These care packages, too, will be posted on both FB pages.

Parker so loved animals and would be so very happy to see that his grandmother has reached out to Parker’s Pals in his memory. Parker’s Pals is humbled and grateful to have met such a wonderful and loving family. Surely the two Parkers have found each other on the other side of Rainbow Bridge and are smiling down upon us.
